La parte de “La sirenita” que más me gusta es el final, cuando debe matar al príncipe para poder volver al mar. Se arrepiente a último momento y sólo lo hiere. Elige morir antes que asesinarlo, pero en algunas versiones no muere, sino que se transforma en un espíritu de aire.

But she change her mind at the last minute, and she just wounded him. She chooses to die instead of murdering him; but in some versions of this tale she didn’t die, she transmuted into an air spririt.
