The part of The little mermaid that I like the most is the end, when her only hope to return to the ocean is to kill the prince. But she change her mind at the last minute, and she just wounded him. She chooses to die instead of murdering him; but in some versions of this tale she didnt die, she transmuted into an air spririt. From now. I will start drawing the commissions!!
I'm not quite sure where the translation can be found.. and even how it is called. I have a book and only found it a year ago in my bookcase. It impressed me so much that I had dreams of it. Maybe that's because I nearly drowned twice or three times as a child, lol :]
Thank you so much!! I think now that I am abusing of that water effect, almost all my latest pictures have water reflections.. It is true that the hear looks that way, the reason is that it was painted a re-painted several times, until it became impossible to modify anymore. It is a relief that those mistakes cannot be seen in this digitalized version...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
